A visual novel set aboard a mysterious floating ship called Norn, Norn9: Var Commons drops child prodigy Sorata Suzuhara into a world resembling Japan's Meiji and Taisho eras after he blacks out following a strange, haunting song. He finds himself among 12 passengers — three young women and nine men — all supposedly espers on a journey commissioned by a shadowy multinational entity known only as The World. When the ship comes under attack, the mysteries only multiply.
