Mouse P.I. For Hire is a first-person shooter built around 1930s cartoon style, with every frame hand-drawn in black and white rubber hose animation. You play as Jack Pepper, a war hero turned detective voiced by Troy Baker, investigating a missing persons case that spirals into corruption, kidnapping and murder across the seedy underbelly of Mouseburg.

The campaign spans over 20 noir-infused levels packed with heavily armed gangs, crooked cops and menacing bosses. Combat rewards constant movement with wall-running, grapple-hooking and double-jumping, backed by 12+ unique cartoon weapons, consumable power-ups, unlockable abilities and Metroidvania-inspired traversal mechanics.
