The sixth entry in the long-running Mario & Sonic series brings the rivalry to Tokyo, with a roster of Olympic events spanning boxing, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. Alongside the modern events, a dedicated 2D mode lets you compete in classic versions of events from the 1964 Summer Olympics, rendered in 8-bit Mario and 16-bit Sonic art styles with button-only controls.
