Additional notes (optional)

If they charge for delivery, tell us how much.

I confirm the competitor is an authorised New Zealand retailer, the item is in stock there, it’s the exact same product (matching brand, model and SKU), and it’s a publicly advertised price, not a marketplace listing or member-only price. While we will do our very best to price match, on occasion it may not always be possible. Note: Price match requests for sale / clearance items from another retailer are at our discretion.

Never before released outside of Japan, 70’s-Style Robot Anime GEPPY-X will now be available to play worldwide!

A love letter to Japanese mecha anime from the 70’s, this fast-paced 2D side-scrolling shooter has undergone a transformation of its own. Battle the Cosmic Demon Empire with quality of life improvements such as faster load times, rewind, save states, and more!

Experience GEPPY-X with subtitles in eight new languages and full restoration of the 8,000 hand-drawn frames from the original Betacam master tapes. The original release squeezed the animation into four discs at 320x240 resolution and only 15fps. For this new release, each “episode” has had its opening theme, previews, commercials, and end credits re-digitized and restored to its original 24fps.

Never suffer from a mistake or miss a commercial with the ability to rewind
Save and reload at any point with Save States
Fully restored Betacam tapes re-digitized to 24fps with optional upscaling (optional setting will follow shortly after launch)
Original Japanese voice overs including iconic voices from classic 90’s anime such as Akira Kamiya, Shō Hayami, Shūichi Ikeda, Ichirō Nagai, Gorō Naya, and more
Original soundtrack including legendary anime theme artists Isao Sasaki, Akira Kushida, and Hironobu Kageyama
Localized subtitles (available in English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese)
Transform between three combat forms in real time, mastering balance, speed, and power
Rapid Fire Option - Relax your hands and fire your main and sub weapons by holding botton instead of button mashing!
CRT filters - Relive the retro experience with several filter options, including CRT curvature
