Set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a 2D Action-Exploration title from KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin.
In 1499 Paris, a young Belmont armed with the legendary holy whip, the Vampire Killer, ventures into the city streets and looming castle to hunt down monstrous creatures threatening to destroy the city.
- Satisfying whip action - crack your whip to move around freely like a trapeze artist and master the mechanics for fast-paced combat
- Large selection of weapons and abilities for strategic combat planning
- Environmental hazards, secrets, traps and puzzles throughout multiple biomes requiring both combat skill and problem-solving
- Unique colorful art style expanding the series-classic gothic aesthetic
- Beloved Castlevania elements including colorful characters, powerful foes, secret chambers and hidden items
This PS5 release delivers the classic action-exploration formula with whip-based traversal and combat mechanics that define the franchise. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on PlayStation 5 combines traditional series DNA with fresh art direction and exploration-focused level design.
